Sustainability - values within the organization at SBP
Sustainable Business Partner is founded on the basis of consideration for the environment and the realization of each organization's unique environmental goals.
We work according to the ISO 26000 standard, which is an international standard for social responsibility and provides companies and organizations with guidance in sustainability work. The standard is based on seven core areas; organisational governance, human rights, working conditions, the environment, responsible business practices, consumer issues and local social development and always with the highest possible safety standards across the value chain.
To follow the guidelines that apply according to ISO 26000 is a matter of course for us. In addition, we keep up to date with news, practices and recommendations from the UN Global Compact, which aims to create changes in business related to the future "Sustainable Development Goals" (SDGs) for the 2030 Agenda. As a player in green technology, we want to take responsibility and our sustainability goals should be reflected accordingly.
All decisions in our organization aim to reduce our and our customers' impact on the environment. We at SBP are constantly updating our offer in search of the most advantageous for you as a customer. Environmental work begins in our own premises where, when purchasing office furniture, we choose to purchase used furniture in environmentally sustainable materials to the extent possible. Our internal travel policies are primarily aimed at choosing more environmentally friendly collective alternatives and where the company cars we provide are only 100% electric cars.
Of course, it is also of the utmost importance for us as a player in greentech to be as environmentally sustainable as possible in our delivery to you as a customer. When choosing materials and technologies (e.g. solar modules) we choose products that meet a considered environmentally high standard, while also taking into account other influence factors, such as shipping.
As the technology is constantly evolving and production facilities are moved between countries and continents, continued optimization in processes linked to the selection of products is something we work continuously with. When installing, we have clear guidelines and requirements regarding how we take into account our surroundings and its vegetation and how we handle possible packaging and other residues.
Policy
CSR work is fundamental and woven into our DNA in companies and its processes as well as culture. Everything we do affects the world around us and here we as a company together with our partners will take our responsibility through our joint projects. We therefore conduct an environmental and recycling policy to clarify what applies to all parties involved. Carpooling to the workplace should be done as far as possible. The means of transport shall be the one with the lowest environmental impact. Any purchase of products shall always take into account the environmental aspects at all stages.
Energy-saving measures have been taken and adequate software programs have been developed to minimize paper usage. The vast majority of agreements and agreement documents are handled and signed digitally. The handover documentation to the customer is handed over in digital form as long as the customer does not ask otherwise. All leftover material from the project should either be saved and reused on the next project. Alternatively, the packaging and spillage must be submitted to an environmental station that takes care of the material.
