Areim continues cooperation with SBP on solar energy

October 23, 2024
Areim is taking another step forward in its sustainability efforts with the completion of a solar plant on Värmdö, marking the ninth project in collaboration with SBP.

The project, which includes the installation of a photovoltaic system on a building housing Werksta's car repair shop, means that the company can now supply its operations with green electricity.

The new plant has a total capacity of 59.4 kW. The installation was completed in October and at the time of writing the plant is almost ready for operation.

- "Areim continues to invest for the future and through our partnership, the plant at Ösby 1:250 will now be the 9th project in a row that we complete - which means that we are now approaching the golden 'megawatt' by leaps and bounds together," says Johan Braunerhielm, project manager at SBP.

What Johan Braunerhielm is alluding to is that SBP and Areim, through their collaboration, have installed a total power of 843 kW to date.

According to Johan Braunerhielm, the key factors behind the good partnership have been the ability to adapt to the needs of the tenants throughout the project process, as well as clear and open communication between the parties.

Lisa Hult, Asset Manager at Areim, has previously spoken in similar terms about the collaboration.

- SBP is a reliable partner that takes the project from start to finish. They find flexible solutions, take into account the tenants' activities and communicate clearly along the way.
