During the middle days, SBP's work on Västmanland District Court's solar cell plant began, which is part of SBB's strategy to make its portfolio more energy efficient. "SBP is a company we have increasingly begun to turn to in matters of solar energy," says Niklas Sundström at SBB.

"It was a crisp Wednesday morning - in honor of the day, the weather gods were on our side and we avoided both snow and sleet". This was the beginning of the internal reporting of SBP's project manager in connection with the start of the project.
- Due to the activities conducted in the property, special requirements are placed on us as a partner. My goal is to always be able to implement the projects with minimal impact on our customer, their tenants, the daily operations and not least the environment. A concrete example is that we managed to establish the project in only 2.5 hours very efficiently with high precision and without compromising the work environment, says Johan Braunerhielm in connection with the start-up phase.

This is part of SBB's strategy to make its portfolio more energy efficient. At the heart of this commitment is the country's climate goals, where they are constantly reviewing where they can improve the sustainability of their portfolio and where solar cells are a particularly important part of the work. As SBB's work with green technology advances, they have now begun to lean on SBP's expertise in the area, says Niklas Sundström, Technical Manager at SBB.
- Since Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget began to strive more and more towards solar energy, we have tried a lot of suppliers in the industry. However, SBP is a company we started to turn to more and more in questions about solar energy. I have always felt a welcome and a professional approach to all our project ideas where you have always come up with good solutions. In addition, SBP has been able to deliver solar cell projects with such good traceability of the panels, which is very important for us as a company in terms of sustainability.

The installation consists of 244 solar panels with a total output of 99.6kW and Johan Braunerhielm is looking forward to the work in the coming months. He believes that SBB's commitment was clearly visible early on.
- SBB as a real estate player has demonstrably chosen to prioritize sustainability in the management of its properties. It shows a strong spirit of progress with its investments in green energy and I look forward to working closely with a company that is so committed to the country's future.
