Hagaparken in Stockholm is known as a lush park where our Crown Princess and her family live. Since this summer, the park is now even greener.
The office building is now powered by solar energy on behalf of Mengus, owner of the architectural landmark Gate:01. It was in May this year that the 499 kWp solar plant was launched.
During the summer, the plant was completed on the building, formerly synonymous with the SAS headquarters, and now provides energy from the sun.
- It all starts as usual with our Greentech Integration solar installers who carry out their work with great precision in the field. It also starts with our skilled designers who spend countless hours designing the optimal solution in consultation with Mengus, who has been a very supportive client all the way," says Mobin Jafari, Project Manager at SBP.
"A significant milestone"
The plant is spread over eight different roof areas, which means there are more challenges than installing one continuous plant. However, with the help of Mengus, the plant was in place before many people had returned from vacation.
- A project like this requires successful collaboration with careful planning, clear communication and effective coordination between all parties. In this case, Mengus has been exemplary," says Mobin Jafari and continues:
- "Haga is truly an iconic landmark in Stockholm and installing its solar plant has been a significant milestone for both me in my role and for us as a company.
