On the outskirts of the royal Hagaparken stands Frösundavik, which recently changed its name to Gate:01. That's not the only thing that's new about the spectacular building next to Brunnsviken's water - since this summer, it is now also powered by solar energy.

Hagaparken in Stockholm is known as a verdant park where our Crown Princess resides with her family. Since this summer, the park is now even greener.

Commissioned by Mengus, the owner of the architectural landmark Gate:01, the office building is now powered by solar energy. The project launch for the 499 kWp solar power plant began in May of this year.
During the summer, the plant was completed on the building, previously known as SAS's headquarters, and now provides energy from the sun.

– As usual, it all starts with our solar panel installers, Greentech Integration, who perform their work with great precision in the field. In addition, our skilled project managers dedicate countless hours to designing the optimal solution in consultation with Mengus, who has been a very supportive client throughout the process, says Mobin Jafari, project manager at SBP.

"A significant milestone"

The plant is distributed over eight different roof surfaces, which means that the challenges are greater than with the installation of a single, cohesive plant. However, with the help of Mengus, the plant was in place before many had even returned from vacation.

– A project like this requires successful collaboration with careful planning, clear communication, and effective coordination between all parties. In this case, Mengus has been exemplary, says Mobin Jafari, and continues:

– Haga is truly an iconic landmark in Stockholm, and installing its solar power plant has been a significant milestone for both me in my role and for us as a company.
