Johan Braunerhielm is the latest addition to the project management team at SBP. He most recently came from H2M Fastighetsteknik, where he held several different positions - he has worked with project management, quality issues, tendering & procurement, implementation of new business support, contract issues, environment & work environment, maintenance planning, system administration and much more.
In addition, he previously ran his own company that specialized in low-sloping roofs and waterproofing.
Overall, this has created a good understanding of the conditions for the installation of solar energy systems, with elements that include the underlying structure, strength, base, friction and much more. He thrives best in the role of project manager, and Johan's experience falls within the framework of what work in green technology requires.
He describes himself as a person with a desire for constant personal development and to challenge himself both mentally and physically - "make the ego a little uncomfortable", as he describes it.
In his spare time, he is particularly passionate about climbing, where he is also an instructor, and for nature. He believes that the latter has grown in recent years.
– I originally come from a background with a great interest in cars, but how important is a loud V8 really if we know the price we will pay for it? Since then, the importance of making environmentally smart choices has really grown as society has taken greater action against the environment, such as something as simple as recycling. It is precisely the deeper fundamental values in creating and operating in a meaningful industry that made me apply to SBP, says Johan Braunerhielm.
"Made a big impression from day one"
Right from the start, he was impressed by both the staff at SBP and how the business is run, as well as the attitude to sustainability.
– For me, it is important that both the service and my colleagues have consistent values and goals. You spend most of your time at work and it automatically becomes a second home. Then you want everything to be right. When I met Katarina Waniewska (Head of Project Management) she showed an emotional strength in the form of humility and consideration that appealed to me. SBP really works as a well-oiled machine to achieve successful projects and build for the future, and therefore it is the soft values in combination with professionalism and high ambitions that make SBP particularly attractive as an employer, he says and continues:
– The company's attitude to sustainability, the work with challenges in society and for the well-being of all employees, such as being encouraged to exercise during working hours, is something big that I think all employers should discover and do for their employees and the working environment.
Katarina Waniewska sees the recruitment of Johan as a crucial piece of the puzzle in the organization's structure - his multifaceted knowledge base in combination with his personality means that he naturally fits into the group, she believes.
– Johan has made a big impression on all of us from day one with his vibrant energy. Thanks to the combination of his positive personality and broad experience, he blends into the business in a natural way, while at the same time he has cutting-edge qualities that make him a perfect complement to the existing expertise. The fact that we now have him on board means that we have achieved further breadth within SBP's project management, says Katarina Waniewska.
