In sustainable energy and green technology, there are many aspects to consider as a total supplier. That's why our Head of Technical Development Rasmus Larsson was interviewed about our business, how our offerings can benefit companies - and that we have recently broadened our portfolio with a digital service, which we will soon be writing much more about.
Rasmus Larsson is now releasing some advance clues about the new Chargeflow, our proprietary software that both monitors and controls solar energy production, connected energy storage and charging infrastructure in buildings.
- Being able to monitor and control both production and load in the form of, for example, charging electric vehicles is key to making the best use of resources. Electric vehicles are charged when the property has lower electricity demand, or directed to the cars when there is excess solar energy in the property. When excess generation occurs, electricity is sold to the grid, or recharges connected energy storage facilities, depending on market prices and future energy needs of the property. By increasing the self-sufficiency of the property, it also helps to relieve the external electricity grid, he says in the article.
SBP's different business approaches help companies to move towards sustainable development and each deal is tailored to the client's needs and fundamentals. This is also discussed in the article, where Rasmus Larsson clarifies some of the benefits for companies that choose to operate on green energy.
- Not everyone may think that solar energy in Sweden is already very profitable. Solar energy lowers the operating cost of the property through both savings and revenue and our customers get a positive result from day one. As a property owner, you should always keep in mind that a reduction in operating costs also increases the value of the property, which is important to investors.
