- It is incredibly gratifying and proof that our work as a team has borne fruit," says Mobin Jafari, project manager from SBP.
The solar installation with a peak power of 499 kWp was completed in August 2024, was commissioned by Mengus and is located next to the scenic Haga Park. Read more about the project here.
The project has been uniquely designed to follow the architectural design of the building and adapted to create a high level of energy efficiency. Close cooperation between different stakeholders has been a key factor in creating a solution with high fire safety and optimal performance.
- Haga is truly an iconic landmark in Stockholm and installing its solar plant has been a significant milestone for both me in my role and for us as a company," says Mobin Jafari.
One of the players, who was a crucial part of the success, was the installation company Greentech Integration, which is nominated for the award together with SBP. Ivan Adamchyk led the installation on behalf of Greentech Integration and the company's CEO Erika Poskute has seen it as a profile project.
- For us, it was an exciting project, which I really think is worth the attention and the nomination. Our team, together with both SBP and the customer, has created a facility that is at the forefront of Swedish solar energy both technically and in terms of installation, says Erika Poskute.
The way forward
To continue to gain recognition and drive development forward, Mobin sees the importance of continuing with the same high ambition and rigor.
- We must continue to dare to challenge ourselves, be responsive and always strive for improvement. From this successful project, we have learned a lot and really see that we have reached a higher minimum level of competence in order to continue to be able to deliver with the same high quality in future projects," says Mobin Jafari.
The winners will be announced at the annual meeting of the Swedish Solar Energy Association on April 10.
